Patio Pounder

at the courtyard behind Henrietta Red

Come #getTYLTED with us at Henrietta Red! On Sunday, April 14th, we’re hosting our second annual Patio Pounder — right in our own backyard! Part of the “Play with Friends” portion of our Friends with Benefits series, our Patio Pounder is intended to raise awareness about the race (Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry), raise money for the cause, and help get our riders ready for the 300 miles they’ll be logging in California!

We’re thrilled to be partnering with TYLT Cycle this year, who will be offering two opportunities to ride on Sunday afternoon. Both the 3:00 and a 4:00 ride will last 45 minutes, and each one will be followed by a well-deserved Happy Hour at Henrietta Red, complete with one complimentary Patio Pounder cocktail.

Class costs $45 per person, and all money raised goes directly to Chefs Cycle. Book your bike in advance using TYLT’s online booking portal, and be sure to book it soon — these bikes will fill up fast!

Event Series Supporting Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry

A series of events organized by Henrietta Red and Strategic Hospitality, our Friends With Benefits series will raise money for Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry, a 300 mile bike ride in Santa Rosa, California from May 14-16th.

These fundraising events, each of which will take place in various locations throughout Nashville, range from guest chef dinners to fitness-focused affairs. With almost two events taking place every month between February and May, there are plenty of opportunities to have a little fun for a good cause.

Our own Julia Sullivan, chef / co-owner of Henrietta Red, is participating in the ride for her second consecutive year, alongside Strategic Hospitality Creative Strategist Maddie Adams and Communications Specialist Jordan Farrell for their inaugural year. The three will be riding as a part of Team Food & Wine, each with a goal of raising $7,500.

About Chefs Cycle

Chefs Cycle is a one-of-a-kind national fundraising event featuring award-winning chefs and members of the culinary community who ride together in an effort to fight childhood hunger.

For the fourth year in a row, Chefs Cycle is engaging those who want to push their physical limits by embarking on a 300 mile ride. The Spring 2019 ride will take place May 14-16 in Santa Rosa, California, with a goal of 275+ chefs riding to raise $2.4 million in support of No Kid Hungry, a national nonprofit determined to end childhood hunger in America.

About No Kid Hungry

In America, 1 in 6 kids will face hunger this year. No Kid Hungry is an organization that works to connect children with the healthy food they need to live, learn, and thrive. No Kid Hungry ensures children in America have access to nutritious meals both during the school year and in the summertime, and also teaches families the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget.

Every $1 donated can help to provide a child with up to 10 meals.
